A Unique Textile Digital Process

Unlike conventional screen printing, digital printing wastes very little water, ink, fabric or electricity. Yizzam prints using only eco-friendly, water based dye inks. Our process uses no additional chemicals or harsh treatments in the manufacturing process. That's a promise!

Dye sublimation is a process of applying an image to polyester cloth using three main ingredients: sublimation ink, heat, and pressure. Sublimation ink is unique in that it has the ability to convert from a solid to a gas without going through a liquid form (like dry ice). The conversion is initiated by heat and controlled with pressure and time. The reason sublimation is superior and unlike most graphic apparel is due to the fact that during the process the dyes are infused into the substrate at the molecular level rather than applied at a topical level (as in screen printing). This results in a higher quality, high resolution, permanent print that doesn’t crack, fade or peel.

Printing textiles digitally allows us to have a much richer image clarity compared to screen printing. Since everything is done digitally, the entire shirt is the canvas. The artist has no limits on choice of colors or canvas size. All work is done in our Sunny Miami, Florida location by a rowdy group of quality obsessed Miami'ans.

Handcrafted In the USA

For us, what separates a good piece of clothing from a great one is the quality and comfort of the fabric. At Yizzam, all items are made from the highest quality knitted polyester. This “engineered” fabric is specifically made to be more durable than cotton and as soft as a baby’s bottom, lightweight, bright and fade resistant. We designed all our clothing with the tropics in mind (we’d know, they’ve been extensively tested down here).

We are proud to say that all of our apparel is American made, sweatshop free, and ethically produced. All of our items are made to order every single time. We ship direct and don’t house inventory. While many clothing companies have moved overseas, Yizzam recognizes that some of the hardest workers, the finest craftsmanship, and the most innovative designers continue to define what it means to be “American Made.”

In short, we wouldn’t do it any other way. All cutting and sewing is done right here in the United States. With the exception of our leggings, each t-shirt, top, tank, or hoodie has a “Made in USA” Yizzam badge on the bottom left of each item. Consider it our seal of approval.

All Over Print Cleaning and Care is Easy

Because we use a unique water based dye process where the image becomes a permanent part of the garment, we guarantee it will never peel, crack or flake like a regular print. Caring for your All Over Print apparel is easy. Simply wash in cold water and dry on low.

Because we use all the same printing techniques when you Design Your Own, our washing instructions are the same as with all our other apparel. Our colors will never ever bleed or run. Everything is printed on some form of knitted polyester. We recommend washing in warm water on a normal cycle. Color safe bleach is fine.

We do not recommend ironing our apparel. To prolong the life of your apparel we suggest not washing it with denim or sneakers. Lay out to dry if possible or use less dryer time to keep colors bright.
